“We will be in the pool today for (low impact walking and movement),” Castro said Tuesday morning. ”I feel a lot better today.”
Castro confirmed seven to 10 days is a realistic timeframe to expect him back in baseball drills.
Castro injured the hamstring on a slide, his second hamstring strain in two springs.
“I will do my routine everyday,” he said. “I don’t care how long it takes, but if I do all of my treatment every day, I will do it faster.”
Castro said he will be have a better idea where he is at by the weekend.
“This injury is not as bad as last year’s (hamstring strain),” he said "
