" The Chicago Bulls had a few news tidbits over the weekend and here’s a quick recap in case you missed any of it: 

" The Bulls went 1-4 during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas last week. Second-year player out of Marquette, Jimmy Butler, looked great in his four outings averaging 20.8 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 43 percent from the field and almost 90 percent from the free-throw line. Malcolm Thomas played impressively on the Bulls summer league squad and will most likely take part in the Bulls training camp this fall. The San Diego State product averaged 11.4 points and 12.4 rebounds including back-to-back 16 rebound outings. The 6-9 Thomas showed a lot of activity on the boards and defensively as he registered a block in every game, including three in the finale against the Boston Celtics. Marquis Teague really struggled in Las Vegas "
