Preckwinkle Seeks $25 Gun Tax

" It may be getting a bit more expensive to buy a gun in Cook County.

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle announced a plan Wednesday to implement a $25 tax on gun purchases.

The proposed gun tax would bring in an estimated $600,000 in revenue, according to the Chicago Tribune.
